Ready To Tip-Off: NYC Elite 32 Winter Classic Featured on PIX11 News

It is the event we've been waiting all year to host. Following last year's first NYC Elite 32 Winter Classic at Springfield Gardens High School in Queens, New York, the tournament featuring Varsity and Junior Varsity basketball teams from across the Tri-State area returns as the perfect gift for this holiday season. 

The current schedule and list of teams participating brings together some of the top young basketball talent with student-athletes eager to take part in the NYC Elite 32 Winter Classic on December 27 and December 28 at Springfield Gardens High School.

Ballin'4 Peace founder, Haron Hargrave, actor Nick Barrotta and high school senior athlete Abdoul Diallo, joined PIX11 Morning News in studio to talk about how the event keeps a focus on providing scholarship opportunities and unites the community at Christmas.
