Free Youth Basketball Clinic And Celebrity Charity Game At Charles Hadley Park In Miami To Promote Gun Violence Prevention Awareness

Miami, Florida – In an effort to continue to spread peace through sports and promote gun violence prevention awareness across the United States, Ballin 4 Peace is excited to hold a free youth basketball clinic and Celebrity Charity Game at Charles Hadley Park in Miami, Florida on Saturday, July 2, 2022 as part of the 501c3 organization’s national “Road To Peace Tour”.

Led by Ballin 4 Peace founder and certified National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) youth basketball coach and trainer, Haron Hargrave, elementary and middle school students will receive top skills and development training, learn about the importance of teamwork on and off of the court, and how students can help promote gun violence prevention awareness.

“With the recent tragic events in the United States rooted in gun violence, now is the time to take a stand together. We hope the morning at Charles Hadley Park provides a chance to pause, reflect, and unite on the court with a free youth basketball clinic as we give back to the youth in Miami,” said Haron Hargrave, a former standout point guard at Sacramento State University who has competed professionally internationally with FIBA and USA Basketball 3X3.

“In the past we have teamed-up with the NYPD, the New York Knicks and Junior Knicks, local schools, and a number of non-profit organizations among others to spread a message of peace through sports and provide community outreach as our on-going civic service. We recently completed our “Road To Peace Tour” stop in Houston, Texas at Texas Southern University and are now looking forward to making a positive impact on the youth in Miami.”

Sponsored by Junk Brands, Wooter Apparel, The Rock Basketball, Real Fans Real Talk, the Miami Pro League, Ran By Kids, and Purpose Soul Athletics, the “Road To Peace Tour” in Miami will feature hip-hop icons Fat Joe and Jim Jones, top NBA trainer Ronnie Taylor, dunk champion Jordan “1FootGod” Southerland, members of the Miami Police Department, fitness guru NdO Champ, artists Graf H, Yung Smilez, Kirko Bangz, Sophia Body, Donna Da Don Dada, Aziastar, DK Killa Touch, and many others participating in the Celebrity Charity Basketball game. Tickets for the Celebrity Charity Basketball game can be purchased through Eventbrite
