Ballin’ 4 Peace Returns To QueensWeek Festival With Two-Day Basketball Tournament And Giving Back

(Queens, New York - August, 19, 2022) -- It’s that time of the year again. After a hiatus from last summer, Ballin’ 4 Peace returns to take part in the QueensWeek Festival with a two-day basketball tournament on Saturday, September 17th and Sunday, September 18th at 150th Park (150th Street and North Conduit Ave) in Queens, New York!

Join Ballin’ 4 Peace Founder, and Queens native, Haron Hargrave, along with four basketball teams from around New York City who will compete for the chance to win $5000 and have their team crowned QueensWeek champion.

“QueensWeek remains close to our hearts as one of the biggest community outreach events that our organization holds," said Ballin’ 4 Peace Founder, Haron Hargrave.

"Despite not being able to host our two-day basketball tournament last year, we are excited to return to the QueensWeek Festival this year and come together on the basketball court to further our cause and message of giving back across New York City and particularly in Queens.”

As students throughout Queens prepare to return to school in September, Ballin' 4 Peace will also conduct a back-to-school supplies drive during this time to assist kids and families in need.

Founded in 2008, 501(c)3 non-profit organization Ballin’ 4 Peace (B4P) is committed to raising awareness about violence within NYC and beyond.
