Ballin' 4 Peace Founder, Haron Hargrave, To Be Featured on PIX11's Morning News
Tune in Friday, June 7 as Ballin' 4 Peace founder, Haron Hargrave, joins PIX11 Morning News anchors Dan Mannarino and Hazel Sanchez in-studio to discuss this year's 8th Annual Celebrity Charity Basketball Game held on Saturday, June 15 at The Doghouse at Haaren Hall at John Jay College from 3:30 - 8:30 pm.
"I’m very thankful and honored that PIX11 news always allows me and Ballin' 4 Peace the opportunity to spread the positive message of peace through sports. We need more news outlets like this," Hargrave said.
"Each year we give back to communities across NYC through the Ballin' 4 Peace Celebrity Charity Basketball Game and each year, this annual event keeps getting bigger and better."
The full schedule starts with the NYC Elite 32 All-Star Game (3:00-4:30 pm) featuring some of the standout high school basketball players from across the city; the Celebrity 3-Point Shootout (4:30 - 5:00 pm); the Real Fans Real Talk Slam Dunk Contest (5:30-6:30 pm); and concludes with the Ballin' 4 Peace Celebrity Charity Basketball Game (6:30-8:30 pm).
This year's Slam Dunk participants will include high flyers Isiah Jackson (@BallisLifeZayyy), Kamil Brown (@Kamo.CEO), Ray Westbrook ( @RayWestbrook_), Maxwell Pearce ( @MaxwellPearce ), Roscoe Johnson ( @Roscoeizballin ), Mr. Bounce (@mostbounceinphilly), Daivel Jackson ( @daivel.5 ), and Tish Emmanuel (@fre5shprince_ ).
