2nd Annual Ballin 4 Peace Holiday High School Classic Returns To Springfield Gardens High School

(Queens, New York (November 18, 2022) -- For the second straight year, Ballin 4 Peace returns for the Holiday High School Classic at Springfield Gardens in Queens, New York on Tuesday, December 27 and Wednesday, December 28, featuring standout Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School Boys and Girls teams from around New York City. 

It's another chance for Ballin 4 Peace to once again spread peace through sports over the holidays and for young up-and-coming basketball players to shine on the court. 

“Last year was a huge success for the communities that we serve because of the Holiday High School Classic. It meant a lot to see the gym full of families, friends, and people throughout Queens and New York who watched these kids all compete on the floor," said Ballin 4 Peace Founder, Haron Hargrave. 

"All of our giving back over the holidays wouldn't have been possible without our donors, sponsors, partners, the teams, fans, and everyone at Springfield Gardens High School. We can't wait to do it all again this year!"

The 2nd Annual Ballin 4 Peace Holiday High School Classic basketball tournaments tip-off at Springfield Gardens High School at 10:00 am on both Tuesday, December 27 and Wednesday, December 28, with Boys and Girls Middle School and JV games taking place on Tuesday and Varsity games scheduled for Wednesday, followed by a trophy presentation and prizes to wrap-up the event. 

Confirmed Varsity teams include Thomas Edison High School, George Washington High School, Bayside High School, Broome Street Academy, Hillcrest High School, Summit Academy, Springfield Gardens, Van Buren High School, Cardozo High School, Thurgood Marshall High School, Queens High School of Teaching, Liberal Arts and the Sciences, Erasmus Hall High School, Eagle Academy, and Gompers High School.
